Daniel Hugh Byrd was born in Harlem in 1953, raised in New York City and comes from a family of preachers. He has been preaching the Gospel for 43 years. He was first licensed to preach in 1970 and later ordained under the ministry of the late Dr. M. L. Wilson of Convent Avenue Baptist Church, N.Y. in 1975. He also received ordination under the ministries of the late  Bishop Paul E. Paino of Fort Wayne, IN in 1984 and Dr. Leroy Thompson, Sr. of Darrow, LA in 2001. He has traveled extensively across this nation and has ministered in Canada and Jamaica W.I. He is sought after for his unique ability to share the Gospel of the Lord Jesus with both boldness and compassion. His areas of focus in ministry include wisdom, spiritual strength, children, finances, godly sexuality and restoring weary and or fallen ministers. He has taken courses at Bluffton College in Bluffton, Ohio and New York Theological Seminary.

He is also the author of Praying Patty and the Secret Languages, ** a book for children and alternative to the popular magic and occult books on the market today. He was married to Debra Ann Byrd for 19 increasingly wonderful years until she went to be with Jesus on Oct. 4, 2007. He has three children, Joii (pronounced Joy), Noel and Renee (Noel's wife) all of whom are ministers Brother Byrd also has two grandsons; Isaac Lee and Hagin Daniel.   

Debra Ann Byrd was a native of New York, N.Y. Her educational background included a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Theology. She preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ through her motivational speaking  inspiring, enriching and empowering people to become all God wants them to be. She  was the founder of W.O.W.W. (Women of Wisdom and Wealth) Ministries. In addition to her outreach ministry, she was also an educator. She established Royal Institute which instructs women on how to discover, prepare for  and walk in their God given purpose and destiny.
